Hervey Bay Whale Watch was the first whale watch company in Australia, started by Brian & Jill Perry in 1987.
The business was taken over in 2017 by `Johno` who was one of the original crew from 1987 and is now continuing
Brian & Jill's tradition of operating as a family business so there is a long line of history and experience
for our fun and educational whale watch cruises.
Our boat Quick Cat 2 was designed specifically for whale watching and has a very clever deck layout.
We have 5 decks on 3 different levels allowing for unobstructed viewing and great photo opportunities.
We offer Morning and Afternoon cruises – From August until October our morning cruise travels via Kingfisher Bay Resort
on Fraser Island.
After our morning whale watch, our guests can choose to stay at Kingfisher Bay for lunch at the resort and explore Fraser Island
and the resort then return to Hervey Bay later in the afternoon - all for only an extra $35.
Hervey Bay Whale Watch also offer an amazing opportunity of swimming with the whales.
